The Crown Shinpad is the most durable hockey shinpad on the market using Crown's High Impact carbon fibre and special medical grade foam to provide significantly increased comfort, protection and impact resistance.

Crown had a clear brief with this project: reduce the significant number of leg injuries incurred every year (Including 2 of their pros) from insufficient plastic shinpads.

I worked on the Shinpad from concept to launch and optimised the design for manufacture as well assisting with the launch strategy.

The shinpad sold out at launch and has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from hockey players of all ability levels.
