Crown Shammy

This was an individual project sprint to create packaging for Crown's Shammy over-grip. It needed to: attract attention in a shop display, display the key information whilst protecting the product, be produced in volume for less than the grip itself and be made in the UK. I explored options to manufacture it in-house but with very tight price constraints, labour or machine costs were prohibitive. I researched and collaborated with local manufacturers whilst iteratively prototyping using business cards and 3D printed templates to develop the design which met all of my criteria. I focussed on decreasing the net and improving nesting of the design to reduce cost. The project culminated in a small production run of the packaging which was well received by Crown.
