Creation Station

The Creation Station is a portable and configurable model making station that fits the Open Rail System to facilitate messy creation in any studio hassle free! The brief was to design a product to improve the function and feeling of a design studio. Through stakeholder interviews, we learned that there was a disconnect between the studio and workshop that made it difficult to develop ideas fluidly. Our solution was to create an area to make messily that can be configured to the needs o the users but still packs away neatly when not in use. The whiteboard can be used when closed and the pegboard means you can add what you need to the Creation Station like tools and smartphones with tutorials. Designed for distributed manufacture using a CNC Router from 9mm Ply.
